My name is Amanda Burke. I grew up in Washington and started taking dance and tumbling classes when I was four years old. I graduated from Washington High School in 2006. While in school, I participated in 4-H, FFA, track, cross-country, cheerleading, dance team and took dance and tumbling classes at Stairway to the Stars. I enjoyed competing in solo and group events at dance competitions and various local talent shows including the Bill Riley show at the Iowa State Fair.
I went to college at Iowa State University. While at ISU, I was a member of the All-Girl Cheerleading Squad for four year and cheered for volleyball, football, and men and women’s basketball. I graduated from Iowa State in 2010 with a Major in Ag Studies and a Minor in Ag Business. I am employed at Chem Gro in Olds in sales and administration.
My husband, Nolan, and I have a son, Hoyt, and a daugher, Tymber. I have been teaching tumbling at Stairway to the Stars since 2010.
